As the early church came into being through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, they began to sing a song of remembrance in later years to keep the flames of love burning bright. For Bethany to remember the power of Acts 2, singing anew the Carmen Christi hymn (Philippians 2:1-11) grounds us in our identity as a church through the life of Jesus for the sake of the world.
