Luke 15:11–32

Jesus teaches with lessons from real life that speak to spiritual realities. Today we focus on the older brother of this archetypal story, we see that his heart was far from that of his father despite never physically leaving home. Jesus invites his hearers to a new understanding that God’s mercy extends not only to the wayward younger son but seeks to reshape the older brother’s heart to be as compassionate as his father.
