Scripture's mountain stories reveal we are made for divine encounters. The Mount of Olives shows us both a fully human Jesus routinely meeting with God and a fully divine, resurrected Christ ascending to the Father, after commissioning his followers (Luke 24: 46-50).
Series Date: 8/9/2026 - 9/13/2026
At almost every turn of page in the Bible, you stumble onto a story of people just like you and me, encountering God in His Creation in a way that changes their lives forever. These Mountain Stories do not end at the summit with God, they always result in a powerful descent, sending us deeper into the suffering of the world and challenging us toward hope. Through this series, we'll travel alongside Bible characters to discover where God meets us all.
