The church isn't a place where we have to anxiously manufacture something for God; instead we are a people learning to live together in response to what God has already done.

God has been gathering, building, and sending God’s people as God’s very life and body into the world. We see God’s triune nature and community at work in the Church, and nowhere is this displayed more clearly than in the book of Acts. Acts shows us that the church is a people gathered by God, a body built up in Christ, and a mission sent by the Spirit.
