Iron Peak in the The North Fork of the Teanaway is a quieter and less explored portion of Washington. At the 6,510-foot summit, the Stuart Range fills the western horizon, Mount Stuart's immense granite face, Colchuck Peak, Dragontail, Little Annapurna. These are the same peaks that cradle the Enchantments basin. Seen from the outside, you get a full scale of what this wilderness area really has to offer. On a clear day, Rainier is visible to the south. Come ready to hike in this sweet area of God's creation, meet some great people, and bring a lunch worth eating at 6,500 feet after a beautiful ascent together!
