Spider Meadows Backpacking Trip

July 19–20, 7am, $15, Spider Meadows, 13 miles, 1900 ft elevation gain, Intermediate

Join us for a 1-night intermediate backpacking trip, July 19th-20th to Spider Meadows in the beautiful Central Cascades. We will meet at Bethany Greenlake at 7am and carpool to the trailhead together. Despite what the name might suggest, this 13 mile trail is stunning, with creeks and amazing glacier views. We'll climb up about 7 miles and 1900 feet of elevation on Saturday and camp at the base of Spider Meadow for the night. We'll cook dinner and breakfast together as a group. Please plan on bringing your own lunch and snacks. 

We'll head back down the trail on Sunday morning, then carpool back to church together, stopping for lunch and maybe some ice cream along the way home.
