Lunch, Film Screening & Discussion
Explore the intersection of faith, politics, and racial justice through a screening of Lynden: A Portrait of a Small Town, Divided (run time 1:13).
“A 17-year-old girl adopted from Ethiopia leads a racial justice march in her small, conservative town, igniting a fierce cultural battle that divides friends, families and church members, and forces the community to confront deeply ingrained issues of identity and race.”
Through the film and discussion with its contributors, including a Bethany North member, we’ll reflect on how Christians can engage with difficult cultural issues and more faithfully navigate the complexities of our faith and political engagement in a divided world.
Recommended for ages 13+ (three instances of expletive language, spoken and written).
Lunch will be provided! Register through the link.
