Mount Rainier Backcountry Ski Tour

February 22, 6:30am, Mount Rainier National Park, $10, Intermediate backcountry ski touring experience required
Meet at 6:30am in front of the Green Lake Sanctuary

Join BWM for a backcountry ski tour near the Mount Rainier National Park (the location will depend on weather & the avalanche conditions). Intermediate backcountry ski touring experience is required (this trip is not intended to be an introduction to backcountry skiing). 

We will meet on Saturday, February 22, at Bethany Green Lake at 6:30 am in front of the Sanctuary. Mileage and elevation will vary depending on the group & avy conditions. All participants must have aiare level 1 or equivalent experience with performing avalanche rescue and carry a beacon/probe/shovel. Potential touring options will look like 4 to 8 miles RT with 2,000 ft to 3,000 ft gain
