MRJR Pilgrimage

MRJR Pilgrimages are experiences that expand our understanding of our neighborhoods through the story and perspective of indigenous and marginalized communities so that we will be curious about God’s work of justice and reconciliation in our context.

We will meet at Licton Springs Park (9536 Ashworth Ave N Seattle, WA 98103), about a mile north of Bethany Green Lake, to learn about this important site. Licton Springs holds cultural significance to Coast Salish peoples across the Puget Sound region since time immemorial. Pastor Phil will share things he has learned through relationship with the Duwamish and a personal call to connect with the story of the indigenous communities of this area, and will invite us to next steps of learning and engagement.
