Life is better together. And as followers of Christ, we have a unique role in connecting with and encouraging other believers. Small Groups are where we connect with others so that we can deepen in our life with God. They are places of love and belonging. They are a place where we learn to embody our faith together.

New small groups form as needed and can be grouped around stage of life, schedule availability, topic, etc. Typically, small groups have anywhere from 8 to 12 people and meet online or in-person.

If you are interested in leading a small group, let us know!

Ministry of Racial Justice and Reconciliation (MRJR)At Bethany Community Church, we believe all humans are image bearers of God (Gen 1:27) and diversity is God’s very-good design (Rev 7:9). Therefore, we strive to stop racism and see God’s image in all people, including all variety of bodies, skin color, ethnicity, national origin, language, faith, and citizenship status. Jesus Christ is ultimately the One who breaks down dividing walls to dismantle racism. At the same time, Jesus calls and equips his followers to be his co-agents of reconciliation and justice. (Ephesians 2:14, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19). Toward this end, Bethany Community Church has made racial justice and reconciliation a strategic priority and established the Ministry of Racial Justice and Reconciliation (MRJR) in order to build a long-term community of reconciliation that restores broken relationships and systems. Spirit, Soul, Body ClassSpirit, Soul, Body is a four-week experience designed to engage participants in a process of transformation to become more like Christ using a discipleship lenses of spirit, soul, and body, which ultimately leads to wholeness. The content of this experience was born out of the conviction that transformation happens not just by learning more about God, but by posturing ourselves to experience more of God in our day-to-day lives. Our weekly 1-hour meetings will all take place in person in the Green Lake Chapel. Our time together will include a gathering all together before spending the bulk of our time in small groups, allowing us to experience God, build relationships, and discuss the content in community. Before each week’s session, content will be delivered via video providing the theological basis and spiritual practice explanation, taught by Pastor Richard and Pastor Abby. If you’re looking for a unique way to engage your faith and to take the next step in your discipleship journey, we encourage you to join us! The cost is $25 to take the course, and it runs every Tuesday from January 9 through January 30.Weekly: Tuesdays at 7:00 PMGreen LakeNo childcare
